Alexandra is the Director of R&D at Magneton. With over 10 years of experience working in R&D in the medical device industry, she will be guiding the development of SPADs toward biological applications. She most recently worked at AbbVie developing the next generation of regenerative medicine products. Prior to that, Alexandra’s postdoctoral research focused on developing hybrid tissue engineered scaffolds that combined biopolymers with the extracellular matrix. Her doctoral research focused on identifying protein modifications to the extracellular matrix under diabetic conditions. Alexandra holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a BS in Biology from The College of New Jersey.
